All Endings

Standard: "A New Name"

How to reach:
Normal completion. The elixir is finished, the family thanks you, your name appears on the list.
The final beat:
The final shot: an empty carriage leaving — but the coachman looks back at something that is not you.

Hidden: "Refusal"

How to reach:
Day 3 in the cellar, withhold the final ingredient (requires the attic notebook clue first).
The final beat:
The manor stills. The family will "wait for the next one". You walk out — no achievement, just a black screen and a door closing.

True: "The Finished Work"

How to reach:
Unlocks at 100%: second run with all clues, tell the butler on day 3 "I know what I am".
The final beat:
The butler removes his gloves. Under them: another pair of gloves. Cut to black — and the Day 1 opening plays. A loop, or someone else's day one?

The Three Readings

The Sacrifice reading (47%)

The servant willingly becomes part of the recipe.

Evidence: "The final ingredient concerns the servant", the new name on the list in the standard ending, the horse as precedent.

Weak point: Cannot explain the hidden ending — why does a refused sacrifice lead to patient "waiting" instead of wrath?

The Loop reading (38%, rising)

The manor is filtering for a "qualified servant"; every completion is one test cycle.

Evidence: The true ending replays Day 1, the multi-entry servant list, the coachman's "waiting" lines.

Weak point: What is the filter's endgame? Nothing in saga canon supports an endpoint existing.

The Reincarnation reading (15%)

The servant is a reborn Vanderboom; the recipe is how one "comes back".

Evidence: The notebook's handwriting, the servant's déjà-vu lines, the cube/memory canon.

Weak point: Timeline breaks — whoever is reborn in 1896 has not died yet. The frailest, most romantic reading.

Editorial: all three may be the same event

The community's hottest observation: Sacrifice (you become the recipe), Loop (the recipe filters you), Reincarnation (the recipe returns you) — one reading per stage of the elixir. Rusty Lake always tells one story from three faces. The thread quieted after this post.

A week of Sacrifice-vs-Loop-vs-Reincarnation shouting, then someone pointed out all three are the same ending from three angles. The thread went quiet after that.
